Made with soybeans grown in Gangwon-do, Korea, for a rich and naturally savory flavor.

The soybeans are slowly cooked in a traditional cauldron for 6 hours, then fermented with natto cultures for 24 hours.

For the best experience, Jeongtodam Cheonggukjang Powder is recommended to be consumed without heating.

How It's Made

Jeongtodam Cheonggukjang Powder is made from 100% Korean-grown soybeans. The soybeans are thoroughly cooked for 7 hours, fermented and aged for 30 hours, then low-temperature dried for 4 days. Finally, they are finely ground into a smooth, easy-to-enjoy powder.

The naturally fermented powder contains Bacillus cultures and can be easily mixed with water or milk.

For best results, we recommend enjoying it without cooking or heating. Temperatures above 45°C (113°F) may reduce the amount of live beneficial bacteria, so mix it with cool or lukewarm water or milk rather than hot liquids.
