Harvested for only a limited time each year, from November through January, this Gopchang Dol Gim is grown with the traditional pole-raised method (jijusik, 지주식).
Naturally grown without acid treatment, the seaweed develops its distinctive flavor and texture through exposure to the natural tidal cycle. It is known for its rich, nutty flavor with a subtle natural sweetness and its loosely woven texture with small, naturally occurring holes.
Enjoy the unique taste and texture of traditionally cultivated Korean seaweed, harvested only during its limited season.
