Blackfin Flounder, also known in Korea as Mulgajami or Mijuguri, is prized for its tender texture and rich, nutty flavor. Its slightly reddish-white flesh is commonly used in traditional Korean ancestral rites and a variety of Korean dishes.
How to enjoy
- Pan-fry or grill with a little oil until golden on both sides, and serve with warm rice.
- Braise (jorim) in a soy sauce and red pepper sauce with radish and onion.
- Steam it for a lighter dish.
